Graduate teaching opportunities
Graduate teaching opportunities were formalized for incoming MDES and MA students. Prior to arrival in the Fall, students are encouraged to formulate a proposal for teaching during RISD’s Wintersession, a 5 week break between Fall and Spring semesters. INTAR's Graduate Program Director and Department Head review the proposals. Once accepted, the Graduate Program Director supervises the development of the proposal to syllabus and full course outline. For more information, email Markus Berger, INTAR Graduate Program Director: email@example.com.
Summer Program teaching:
Top recent graduates of the MDes and MA degree program have the opportunity for a Teaching Assistantship (a RISD teaching contract) in the MDes Summer Program. With insight to what skills are needed to succeed, these recent graduates tutor the incoming classes on design and making. For more information, email Markus Berger, INTAR Graduate Program Director: firstname.lastname@example.org.
